An Immense World: How Animal Senses Reveal the Hidden Realms Around Us by Ed Yong (2022)

Ed Yong has delivered a brilliant and highly entertaining book of science writing. Undoubtedly one of my favourites in the last few years.  As the Wall Street Journal said: "A dazzling ride through the sensory world of astounding sophisticated creatures".  Can't wait for his next work of art. You'll also love his first book - "I Contain Multitudes: The Microbes Within Us and a Grander View of Life" for which he won the Pulitzer Prize.
