Do you have a passion for science, nature, natural history, art, or communicating about the natural world? Then we want to hear from you! We believe that members of the Salt Spring community have a wealth of skills, interests, and experiences to share, and we're eager to tap into your talents.
Volunteer Opportunities
Do you enjoy planning and organization? Do you get a high when all the plans come together and everything runs smoothly? Event Support volunteers play an important role in helping us deliver successful events. Here are things we can use help with:
Assisting with event planning and logistics, including setting up and breaking down event spaces, managing registration.
Providing on-site event support and helping to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event.
Communicating with event attendees and responding to inquiries or concerns.
Contributing to the development of event materials such as flyers, posters, and social media posts

Members of the Salt Spring community have so much talent and knowledge related to science, nature, natural history, native plant gardening, traditional knowledge, nature-based art, conservation issues, and so much more. If you’d like to share your knowledge and experience through a presentation, nature project or walk we want to talk with you!
